DIE WELLE

The main character is a modern teacher, who has to teach what’s an autocratic government. The pupils at the begginig don’t pay attention to the lessons so he tries to make it better and different. The teacher then decides to show them what it's like to live in an autocracy, and sets up a simple experiment in class.
They choose a leader who is the teacher, and all of them decide to wear a white shirt and blue jeans as if it was a uniform to distinguish themselves from the rest of the school.
The leader starts to think for them and they do what he wants.
They start to get obssesed with it, and they all change the way of thinking behaving as a group.
Soon, what started as a simple classroom experiment turns into a social entity at it's own. The teacher realizes that he cannot control everything and go back to the initial position.
The film shows how a society could change completely for a person who dominates the rest and it also shows that it’s posible to come back to past political governments.

GRAN TORINO

This film is about the last months of the life of and old man, Walt Kowalski, starred by Clint Eastwood. He is always angry, he has not many friends and his children don´t care about him. His neighbourhood has been full of immigrants and street bands since his wife died. The last ones were installed in the house next door. It was an Asian family and from the first moment he disliked them.
One day the youngest boy tried to steal the Ford Gran Torino encouraged by his cousin´s band. This is the reason why the film is called Gran Torino.
This is only the beginning of the film but later Walt learnt to respect and love the Asian family, and he risked his life because of the security of his neighbours.
In my opinion, it´s a good film but the end could be better, however I’m not telling you the end and you can decide about it.
